Your child requires a range of vaccines to stay safe throughout their first years of life. Here's a guide to understand which child immunizations you should expect during each visit:

• Birth (Hospital): Hep B
• 1 Week: Weight check, jaundice screen
• 2 Weeks: newborn screen
• 2 Months: Pentacel (Hib, DTaP, IPV), Hep B, Prevnar, Rotateq
• 4 Months: Pentacel (Hib, DTaP, IPV), Prevnar, Rotateq
• 6 Months: Pentacel (Hib, DTaP, IPV), Prevnar, Hep B, Rotateq
• 9 Months: lab work (CBC for anemia)
• 12 Months: Hib, Prevnar, Hep A (TB screen, handout)
• 15 Months: DTaP, MMR, varicella
• 18 Months: Hep A
• 2 Years: catch-up vaccinations
• 3 Years: no vaccines
• 4 Years: MMR, Varicella, DTaP, IPV
• 11 to 12 Years: DTaP, Menactra, Gardasil (optional)
